A rapport table is an information table designed to indicate the exact location of an underground engineering structure (e.g., a rain, sewage, or water well), measured from the nearest fixed object – a wall, corner, or column.
The rapport table provides two main distances that allow you to accurately determine where on the ground the manhole cover is located, even if it is covered, snowed in, or not clearly visible.

At the intersection of these two distances, you will find the manhole cover.
A short, simple explanation for the customer. The rapport table provides exact distances to the manhole cover:
- the upper number indicates the distance to the left or right,
- the lower number indicates the distance from the wall forward,
- all of which allows you to quickly find the manhole, even if it is not visible.
